- Targets juniors of all ages.
- Active in public parks and

- Offers grant money for
starting new NJTL programs and expanding existing ones.

- A low-cost introductory
program for new or returning players.
- Prepares
juniors to play tennis in just 6-12 weeks.
- Provides
instruction and supervised play.

participants for USA Team Tennis(Youth).
USTA Team Tennis - Youth
- Introduces players ages 6 -
18 to competitive team tennis while emphasizing fun, fitness and
friends.
- Focuses on fundamentals and
positive coaching for youngsters who are comfortable with full-court
play.
- Matches players of similar
age and ability using the Juniors National Tennis Rating Program (JNTRP).
- Includes free T-Shirt.
USTA Team Tennis (Red Division)
- Introduces the basic fundamentals of tennis to 4 - 8 year
olds.
- Encourages parents to be involved as team coaches.
- Includes a tennis racquet, t-shirt and trophy.
- Flexible format allows implementation at tennis facilities,
recreational centers or school gyms.

- A

Team Tennis (Adult)

the opportunity to play organized team matches in a friendly
atmosphere.

players to "graduate" into BMW Combo Doubles, USA League
Tennis, and USA League Mixed Doubles.
Southern Combo
Doubles
- Provides
players an opportunity to enjoy playing with their friends of other
skill levels in men's and women's doubles by combining NTRP ratings in
divisions 4.5 - 10.5
- Allows
players to self-rate if they do not have computer ratings or verified
ratings.
- Easy to form
teams; local format may include league play or tournament play.
USTA League
Tennis
- Involves over 100,000 adult,
senior and mixed doubles participants in the South
- Adult and Senior divisions
feature progression from local to District, Sectional and National
Championships in adult (2.5 5.0) and senior (3.0 - 4.5)
divisions for men's and women's teams. Adult divisions include two
singles and three doubles; seniors format includes three doubles
divisions.
- Mixed Doubles format includes
adult 5.0 - 9.0 and senior 6.0 - 8.0 levels with three positions.
Players without computer or verified ratings may self-rate.
Progression form local to District, Sectional and Regional
Championships with teams from the Southern, Florida and Caribbean
Sections.

Collegiate
programs
College Player Profiles
LTA Junior Players can obtain college tennis scholarships
through the USTA Collegiate Database! Just by filling out a Player Profile Form and
sending it to the USTA, your name becomes added to the database that college coaches use
